Ever since I was a kid, Jurassic Park was my favorite film: I’ve rewatched it hundreds of times, and I've read the book 9 times as an adult. Animated movies like Monsters, Inc. and science-fiction films like Jurassic Park (and other novels by Michael Crichton) made me start writing adventure stories at the age of nine, and inspired me in high school to chase my dream to be a screenwriter and filmmaker.

Once I graduated from SCAD as class Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian nominee, I moved to Los Angeles, CA and lived in Burbank for two years. After interning for the Hollywood Prayer Network and working for Kappa Studios (The Chosen), I worked at American Talent Management (based in Beverly Hills) for three years. Now I'm focused on my own screenwriting and filmmaking full-time!

...Adventure...

I was born and raised outside the dinosaur badlands of Alberta, Canada. I grew up fossil hunting, exploring vasts forests, camping, and kayaking the Red Deer River. With an American mother and a Canadian father, I spent much of my childhood roadtripping across both countries to visit family in Tennessee and Arizona, which made me fall in love with exploring new places, no matter how rugged!

My research for my scripts, filming for my production company, and my work in indigenous communities has taken me to some of the most remote places in Canada. I can't wait for the next adventure!

...And Herpetology!

Second to writing and adventure, animals are my biggest passion in life. Along with filmmaking and screenwriting full-time, I'm also pursing a graduate degree in Biology with an intended focus on venomous snakes (specifically the eyelash pit-viper, Bothriechis schlegelii). My love for these animals (and science as a whole) constantly inspires my scripts, especially my science fiction!

Previously, I've worked as a reptile keeper for a few private zoos, my duties including being responsible for hundreds of snakes, turtles, and arachnids. I've worked hands-on with both friendly and hazardous reptiles (reticulated python, Burmese python, nile monitor, common snapping turtles, and more).
