Ever since I was a kid, Jurassic Park was my favorite film: I’ve rewatched it hundreds of times, and I've read the book 9 times as an adult. Animated movies like Monsters, Inc. and science-fiction novels by Michael Crichton made me start writing adventure stories at the age of nine, and inspired me in high school to chase my dream to be a screenwriter and filmmaker.

Once I graduated from SCAD as class Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian nominee, I moved to Los Angeles, CA and lived in Burbank. After interning as a development story critic for the Montecito Picture Company (Ghostbusters and Space Jam), interning at the Hollywood Prayer Network as a coordinator, and working for Kappa Studios (The Chosen) as an executive coordinator, I worked at American Talent Management (based in Beverly Hills) for three years.

Now I work as managing editor at the Tahltan Knowledge Keepers Publishing House and producer of 'Count Drahoon' for Kings of Horror (a channel with 1.57 million subscribers), while also working on creative projects for my production company.

...Adventure...

I was born and raised outside the dinosaur badlands of Alberta, Canada. I grew up fossil hunting, exploring vasts forests, camping, and kayaking the Red Deer River. With an American mother and a Canadian father, I spent much of my childhood roadtripping across both countries to visit family in Alberta, Tennessee, and Arizona, which made me fall in love with exploring new places, no matter how rugged!

My research for my scripts, filming for my production company, and my literacy and cultural preservation work in indigenous communities has taken me to some of the most remote places in Canada. I can't wait for the next adventure!

...And ecology!

Second to writing and adventure, animals are my biggest passion in life. Along with screenwriting and story-editing, I'm also pursing a graduate degree in ecology with an intended focus on Central American venomous snakes (specifically the eyelash pit-viper, Bothriechis schlegelii). My love for these animals, the natural world they live in, and science as a whole constantly inspires my scripts,

especially my horror science-fiction!

Previously, I've worked as a reptile zookeeper for a few private zoos, my duties including being responsible for hundreds of snakes, turtles, and arachnids. I've worked hands-on with both friendly and hazardous reptiles (reticulated python, Burmese python, nile monitor, common and alligator snapping turtles, and more).
